The Shops at Perry Crossing invites the community to kick off the holiday season with its Annual Tree Lighting & Parade—a beloved Plainfield tradition that lights up Town Square with festive cheer. Guests can experience the magic of the season with live entertainment, cheerful parade floats, real reindeer, and an appearance by Santa Claus himself.
New this year, the celebration will also feature the Kids Outdoor Market, a special partnership with Children’s Entrepreneur Market that showcases young local entrepreneurs (ages 5–17) selling handmade goods and creative wares.

- Reindeer Appearance: 5:00–7:00 PM (Reindeer depart promptly at 7:00 PM to avoid parade noise.)
- Balloon Twisters: 5:00–7:00 PM
- Kids Outdoor Market: 4:00–8:00 PM | Support young entrepreneurs and shop unique gifts from the next generation of makers.
Local businesses, community organizations, and families are invited to join the parade procession that ushers Santa’s arrival and the lighting of the iconic 54-foot tree.
