The renovation began in March of this year. The theatre remained operational throughout, with focus given to 2-3 auditoriums at a time. Customers have been enthusiastic as the transformation has taken place! Many have shared that “it feels like a whole new experience,” and appreciate Celebration Cinema’s ongoing commitment to a local, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. “As a kid, I watched my first movies right here, and love how the movie theatre business brings our community together,” says Austin Mueller, General Manager. “These renovations have been a long time coming. My team is so proud of how they contribute to the magic. We aspire to be more than just a place to watch a movie. We want to be a place where neighbors connect, families make memories and everyone feels welcome. This is truly where story happens.”
A celebration of the completion will take place on Saturday, July 19. For one day, all Celebration Cinema RiverTown Crossings movie-goers will be treated to a FREE POPCORN with purchase of movie ticket! “Our team has been working incredibly hard and we are excited for folks to come check out the new movie-going experience,” says Emily Loeks, Director of Community Affairs for Celebration Cinema. “It’s a great weekend to come enjoy a movie. SUPERMAN, F1, JURASSIC WORLD and SMURFS are terrific summer “popcorn movies” and pair amazingly with the FREE popcorn we are offering on our day of celebration!”
The $5M renovations, coupled with the renewal of the Celebration Cinema lease at RiverTown Crossings, signal a bright future for the mall and its positioning within the greater Grandville area.
