In this leadership role, Zelman will guide design and construction efforts across the company’s portfolio, translating strategic vision into retail environments that emphasize comfort, convenience, and community connection.

With more than three decades of experience spanning retail, entertainment, and hospitality, Zelman has led the creation of high-profile destinations visited by millions annually. His thoughtful approach to design brings together operational efficiency and placemaking principles to deliver spaces that invite repeat visitation and long-term value.

Before joining Poag, Zelman served as Vice President of Architecture and Design at The Cordish Companies, where he oversaw the development of best-in-class casinos, dining concepts, and live entertainment venues. His career also includes leadership roles at FRCH Design Worldwide and contributions to theme park design initiatives.
